About this notice. Understand TRC financing previews, lender decisions, credit inquiries, and the terms that apply before you borrow.
Tissue Restoration Center (“TRC”) organizes financing information as part of its nonclinical patient services. This notice applies to TRC’s financing education, Finance Engine previews, financing-review requests, and related administrative coordination.
TRC is not a lender. A TRC financing preview or match is not a loan application, lender approval, or commitment to provide funds.
1. TRC’s role in financial planning
TRC brings available cost information, potential payment options, and financing questions into your planning. Your Care Planner can organize information, clarify next steps, and coordinate administrative questions with the appropriate financing provider.
Independent financing providers establish their own eligibility requirements and make their own credit decisions. TRC does not approve loans, set a lender’s final terms, or guarantee access to financing. Exploring financing does not commit you to surgery, borrowing, or paid TRC services.
2. Finance Engine previews and matching results
The TRC Finance Engine provides preliminary planning results using information you supply and the criteria used by the tool. These results are not a lender’s assessment of a completed application or an independent verification of your financial circumstances.
A match indicator describes how your stated information aligns with the criteria used in the preview. It is not an approval, an approval probability, or a promise that a lender will offer the displayed amount or terms. A result showing no match or requesting more information is not a lender denial and does not establish that financing is unavailable elsewhere.
Incomplete information or insufficient criteria may prevent the tool from displaying a meaningful rate or payment estimate. A missing estimate is not a zero payment or an offer of interest-free financing. Results can change as your information, requested amount, or available financing options change.
3. Illustrative payments, rates, and availability
Amounts, annual percentage rates (“APRs”), repayment periods, and monthly payments displayed by TRC are planning illustrations unless clearly identified as a specific offer from a named financing provider. A saved preview records the information shown at that time; it does not reserve a rate, loan amount, or financing product.
Payment illustrations depend on their stated assumptions, including the amount financed, rate, repayment period, and treatment of fees. Actual costs may differ. A displayed rate range does not mean every applicant can obtain its lowest rate, and available options may vary by state, lender, loan purpose, and applicant circumstances.
The options shown through TRC do not necessarily include every financing provider or product. You may consider financing from your own bank or another source, subject to that provider’s terms and the payment requirements of the organizations receiving funds.
4. Credit inquiries and application stages
TRC’s educational Finance Engine preview uses information you provide and does not run a credit check. This applies to the TRC preview, not automatically to a financing provider’s prequalification or application process.
A provider may use a soft credit inquiry, a hard credit inquiry, or other verification depending on the product and stage. Soft inquiries do not affect credit scores; hard inquiries can affect them. Read the provider’s disclosures before proceeding. A “no credit check” statement for one step should not be understood to apply to later steps.
A request for a TRC financing review is separate from a lender application. Prequalification, where offered by a provider, may be conditional and does not guarantee final approval or funding. A lender may require additional information and verification before making or completing an offer.
5. Information sharing and your choices
A financing provider may request information such as identification, income, existing financial obligations, and credit history through its application process. Information submitted directly to a provider is subject to that provider’s privacy practices and applicable law.
Creating a TRC account, saving a preview, or selecting an option is not, by itself, authorization to submit applications to multiple lenders. Any transfer of information by TRC must follow the permissions and lawful basis applicable to that process. Review the recipient, purpose, and any consent or authorization presented before proceeding.
Do not send Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or payment-card details through general TRC email or messaging. Use the designated application or payment process for sensitive financial information.
6. Understanding a financing offer
The financing provider’s written disclosures and agreement establish the actual offer. Review the amount available for your expenses, APR, payment amount and schedule, repayment period, total repayment amount, and applicable fees or conditions.
A lower monthly payment may involve a longer repayment period and a higher total borrowing cost. Some fees may reduce the funds you receive or increase the amount you repay. An estimated payment or match does not establish that borrowing is affordable for your household.
Deferred-interest promotions are different from an unconditional interest-free offer. If the promotional conditions are not met, interest may be charged from the original transaction date. Minimum payments may not repay the promotional balance before its deadline. The provider’s specific terms determine how the promotion works.
TRC can organize the information for comparison, but the decision to accept financing remains yours.
7. Approval, funding, and payment recipients
Approval and funding are separate steps. Funds may not be available immediately, and a provider may impose conditions before disbursement. Confirm the amount, recipient, timing, and permitted use of funds before relying on financing to meet a payment deadline.
Independent surgeon, anesthesia, facility, and other third-party charges remain distinct from TRC’s own fees. A financing product may not cover every component of your proposed cost or support payment to every recipient. TRC does not receive or share in a surgeon’s professional surgical fee.
Financing approval does not establish medical suitability, confirm a surgical appointment, or replace your independent providers’ requirements.
8. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Changing or canceling surgery, a recovery program, or TRC services does not automatically cancel a financing agreement. Refund eligibility and amounts depend on the applicable seller’s terms and law; repayment obligations depend on the financing agreement and applicable law.
Where a refund applies, confirm who issues it, where it is sent, and how it affects the outstanding balance and future payments. Do not assume that a pending refund pauses payments or interest. Obtain instructions from the financing provider about any remaining obligations.
9. Financial relationships and accountability
Any material financial relationship relevant to TRC’s presentation of a financing option is subject to TRC’s financial-disclosure policy. A general statement in this notice does not replace a specific disclosure where one is required. A provider’s appearance in a preview does not, by itself, establish that a compensation arrangement exists.
Independent providers are responsible for their financing decisions and agreements. TRC remains responsible for its own services, statements, and conduct. Nothing in this notice limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Questions about financing information
Contact TRC about a Finance Engine preview, financing-review request, or the administrative steps in your planning. Direct questions about an actual credit inquiry, application decision, loan agreement, account balance, or repayment obligation to the responsible financing provider. TRC can coordinate administrative questions within your selected services.
