PREPARING FOR YOUR CONSULTATION

Your Consultation. Prepared Around You.

Your goals set the agenda. TRC brings the preparation.

The changes you want to achieve deserve a thoughtful conversation with the physician—and preparation that makes your time together count.

Your Care Planner understands your priorities, organizes available surgeon and cost information, and follows up on outstanding details within your selected services. You arrive with a clearer foundation for discussing what may be possible, which approach is recommended, and what that decision would mean for you.

The Preparation Is Part of Our Work.

You do not need to assemble every detail yourself. TRC brings the relevant information and arrangements together around the decisions you are considering.

Understand Your Vision

Discuss your desired results, what you want to preserve, your concerns, and the financial or practical considerations shaping your choices.

Organize Surgeon Information and Consultation Details

Review available credentials, training, relevant procedure experience, and practice information. Coordinate consultation arrangements and clarify what the practice needs beforehand.

Address Costs and Outstanding Questions

Review available estimates, included services, separate expenses, and practice terms. Follow up on unanswered financial and administrative questions with the responsible team.

Your Care Planner takes responsibility for the preparation included in your TRC services. Your physician evaluates your individual circumstances and explains the clinical recommendations.

What Do You Want the Physician to Understand About You?

Your consultation should reflect the reasons you are considering a change.

Review the interests and desired results you have saved in My Aesthetic Plan. Add anything that matters to your decision: a concern about the result, a responsibility at home, an approach you want explained, or something you want to preserve.

Use your own words. You do not need to know which procedure or technique to request.

Review My Desired Results

Keep a question, concern, or expectation with the items you want to discuss.

Write your question above, then switch it on. We’ll ask you to register or sign in so it stays saved to your TRC account.

A Few Details to Have Ready

Follow the practice’s consultation requirements and have the information it requests available, including relevant health history, medication information, and prior procedure records.

Explain practical circumstances that may affect your arrangements, such as work, caregiving, travel, and assistance at home. Let the practice know about communication needs or questions about bringing a support person.

Your Care Planner can coordinate questions about these requirements within your selected services.

Make Your Time With the Physician Count.

Your physician connects your goals with an individual clinical assessment. The most useful questions invite an explanation of what is appropriate for you, why it is recommended, and what you should understand before deciding.

These six questions provide a starting point for discussion with your physician and clinical team. Save the ones you want to keep.

Turn on a question to save it to your plan.

  • Based on my goals and your assessment, what changes are realistically achievable—and what may remain unchanged?

  • Which approach would you recommend for me, and why?

  • What alternatives are appropriate for me, including nonsurgical options or no treatment?

  • What risks are particularly relevant to my health and the procedure you recommend?

  • What would my recovery involve, and how might it affect the responsibilities I have described?

  • What follow-up would I need, and how would concerns or complications be addressed?

You do not need to follow a script or ask everything at once. Use the questions that matter to you and make room for the physician to explain considerations you may not have known to raise.

Your list supports the conversation. It does not replace the physician’s explanation or the informed-consent process.

Explore Additional Questions

Looking for something specific? Browse optional questions or search for the subject on your mind.

Surgeon Experience

Questions about training and relevant experience.

  • What training and experience do you have with this procedure?

  • Which board certifies you, and in what specialty?

  • How often do you perform this procedure?

  • Have you cared for patients with needs and goals like mine?

  • What experience do you have with the approach you recommend?

  • Who will perform my surgery, and who else will help?

  • Can you show me examples of your own work and explain how they relate to my goals?

After the Conversation, TRC Follows Through.

A consultation may confirm your direction, introduce another possibility, or leave questions that deserve further attention.

Your Care Planner brings the information you share back into your planning and coordinates the next steps included in your selected services.

Clarify Costs and Arrangements

Take outstanding financial, scheduling, and administrative questions to the responsible practice or provider.

Connect Medical Questions With the Clinical Team

Coordinate requests for clarification about recommendations, risks, or recovery instructions. The clinical team provides the medical explanation.

Review What Comes Next

Account for new information and changes in your priorities—whether you want to proceed, consider another physician, or take more time.

You have a clearer view of what is ready, what still needs an answer, and which decisions remain yours.
