About this notice. Understand what TRC charges for, how its fees remain separate from independent medical charges, and how financial relationships are disclosed.
Tissue Restoration Center (“TRC”) provides nonclinical patient services. This notice explains the distinction between compensation for TRC’s own work and charges for services provided by independent surgeons, medical professionals, facilities, lenders, and other third parties.
TRC does not receive or share in a surgeon’s professional surgical fee. TRC’s Patient Services fees compensate TRC for its own services.
1. What TRC’s fees cover
TRC charges separately identified fees for the Patient Services and program components included in your selected arrangement. These may include organizing surgeon information and comparisons, reviewing available estimates, coordinating consultations and administrative communications, personalized planning, and selected recovery-support services or products.
TRC Patient Services fees are fixed amounts established for the selected scope and complexity of TRC’s work. They are not calculated as a percentage of a surgeon’s professional fee. The applicable proposal or service agreement identifies what you are purchasing, the amount charged, and the relevant payment and cancellation terms before you commit.
2. Independent medical and third-party charges
Independent surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical facilities, and other providers establish their own charges and financial terms. Their fees pay for the services or products they provide; they are not TRC Patient Services fees.
A cost overview may present independent provider charges and TRC charges together for planning. Presenting them together does not merge the providers’ responsibilities or change who earns each fee. The relevant provider, included services, amount, and payment recipient should remain identifiable. An amount already included in another quoted total should not be added again.
3. Surgeon choice and financial independence
You choose your surgeon. Payment for TRC Patient Services does not require you to select a TRC-registered surgeon or transfer that decision to TRC. Coordination with a particular practice depends on its participation, availability, and any necessary permissions; TRC explains limitations affecting your selected services.
A surgeon’s listing or registration does not, by itself, establish a financial relationship with TRC, a paid recommendation, or a clinical quality ranking. Payment for TRC services does not guarantee acceptance by a surgeon, priority treatment, a particular price, or a surgical result.
4. Financial relationships and disclosures
TRC’s policy is to clearly identify any material financial relationship relevant to a patient’s evaluation of a promoted service, product, or financing option. Where applicable, the disclosure identifies the nature of the relationship near the relevant presentation and before the patient acts on it. A general reference in this notice does not replace a specific disclosure where one is needed.
This policy does not mean that every listed provider or displayed option has a financial relationship with TRC. It also does not create an exception to TRC’s separation from surgeons’ professional surgical fees.
5. Pricing comparisons and available savings
TRC organizes available estimates and financial information so you can compare the services behind each amount. Where a participating provider offers a preferred rate or other pricing arrangement, that provider’s written terms establish its availability, scope, conditions, and price.
TRC does not guarantee that one option will be the least expensive or that a particular saving will be available. Comparisons should account for included and separate services, selected TRC fees, and applicable financing costs. Price alone does not establish a provider’s qualifications or the suitability of a proposed procedure.
6. Financing and optional services
TRC is not a lender. Independent financing providers determine their own eligibility requirements, credit decisions, rates, fees, and repayment terms. A TRC financing illustration or planning review is not a lender’s approval or commitment to fund.
Optional TRC programs, products, or additional services are identified in your proposal or order. Saving an interest, requesting information, or adding an option to your plan does not by itself authorize a charge or enroll you in a paid service. Any purchase or payment authorization is handled through the applicable agreement or checkout process.
7. Agreements, changes, and accountability
Your applicable service agreement or order sets out the specific TRC services, charges, and purchase terms. Independent providers’ agreements govern their own services and charges. This notice does not create a universal deposit, refund, cancellation, or financing policy or replace those agreements.
If a proposed change affects the scope or price of your TRC services, TRC explains the change and obtains any required agreement or authorization before applying it. Nothing in this notice limits TRC’s responsibility for its own services, statements, or conduct, or any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Questions about a charge or relationship
Contact TRC if you need clarification about a TRC fee, a cost overview, the identity of a payment recipient, or a disclosed financial relationship. Your Care Planner can organize the relevant information and coordinate outstanding administrative questions with the appropriate party.
Questions about an independent provider’s charge, refund, or payment policy remain subject to that provider’s terms. TRC reviews concerns about its own services and representations.
