About this notice. Understand what TRC cost information represents, how separate charges fit together, and what confirms the price of selected services.
Tissue Restoration Center (“TRC”) organizes cost information to support your surgical planning. This notice applies to educational price ranges, digital planning totals, comparisons, and cost summaries prepared through TRC.
Independent provider charges and TRC’s own fees remain separate, even when shown together in an Estimated Total Procedure & Care Cost.
1. Planning information and provider estimates
An educational price range or digital calculation provides a starting point for planning. It is not, by itself, a personalized provider quote, bill, price reservation, or agreement to provide services.
A provider estimate reflects the services, assumptions, date, and conditions identified by that provider. TRC may organize this information alongside other charges without changing the estimate’s source or terms. A written TRC proposal identifies TRC’s own selected services and fees.
A planning total is only as complete as the information included. Its presentation as a single amount does not establish that every expense has been confirmed. Saving a total preserves a planning reference; it does not lock in prices or require a provider to accept a patient or perform a procedure.
2. The six cost categories
TRC organizes procedure and care costs into six categories:
- Surgical Fee: The independent surgeon’s professional services specified in the practice’s financial arrangement.
- Anesthesia: Independent anesthesia services and any related items identified in the estimate.
- Facility & Operating Room: The independent facility’s surgical setting, staff, equipment, and included operating-room and recovery resources.
- Medical Supplies & Implants: Procedure-specific materials, devices, implants, and supplies supplied by the responsible practice, facility, or supplier.
- Patient Services: TRC’s separately identified planning, comparison, coordination, and related services within your selected arrangement.
- Post-Surgical Care: Independent clinical follow-up, practical recovery needs, and selected TRC recovery-support components, with providers and charges identified.
These categories describe different services; they do not necessarily represent six separate charges. For example, specified follow-up visits may be included in a surgeon’s fee, and supplies may already be included in a facility charge.
3. Separate providers, fees, and payment recipients
Independent surgeons, anesthesia professionals, facilities, and other third parties establish their own charges and financial terms. TRC’s fees pay for its own services and program components. TRC does not receive or share in a surgeon’s professional surgical fee.
A combined overview does not make every service a TRC service or mean that every payment goes to TRC. The responsible provider or seller, included services, amount, and payment recipient should remain identifiable.
TRC’s role in organizing an estimate does not authorize it to change an independent provider’s price or policies. Any confirmed pricing arrangement remains subject to the responsible party’s terms and applicable law.
4. Included, separate, optional, and unconfirmed amounts
An itemized line may explain a portion of an existing total rather than add a new charge. An amount already included elsewhere should be counted only once. Additional quantities or services may carry separate charges when identified as such.
Optional services and products should be distinguished from selected items. A missing price or an amount awaiting confirmation does not mean an item is free, included, or unnecessary. A subtotal that excludes unresolved costs should not be understood as a complete confirmed price.
Adding an interest or option to a saved plan does not by itself purchase the item, authorize payment, or enroll you in a paid service. Charges and purchase commitments are governed by the applicable proposal, agreement, or checkout authorization.
5. Changes and additional expenses
The proposed clinical approach, procedure combination, facility, materials, operating time, or required services may change after consultation or further evaluation. Testing, prescriptions, complications, additional appointments, revisions, travel changes, or replacement supplies may also create expenses outside the original arrangement.
Whether an additional charge applies depends on the actual services, the responsible party’s terms, and applicable law. This notice does not authorize unrestricted price changes or override an agreed price, required disclosure, or patient right.
Where a change affects TRC’s own services or fees, TRC explains the proposed change and obtains any required agreement or authorization. Your Care Planner can organize updated information and coordinate questions about independent provider changes within your selected services.
6. Comparing costs and available pricing
Similar totals may cover different services. Comparisons should account for providers, proposed procedures, included follow-up, supplies, selected support, exclusions, and conditions—not just the displayed amount.
Preferred rates or other special pricing, where available, are subject to the responsible provider’s written terms. TRC does not guarantee the lowest price or a particular saving. A higher or lower price does not, by itself, establish clinical quality, suitability, or an expected result.
Cost information does not determine which procedure is appropriate for you. Clinical recommendations and acceptance remain with your independent treating professionals.
7. Financing and insurance assumptions
An estimated procedure cost is different from the total cost of borrowing. Interest and financing fees may increase the amount you repay and may not be included in the displayed procedure total. Monthly-payment illustrations depend on the stated amount financed, rate, repayment period, and treatment of fees.
TRC is not a lender. A planning estimate or Finance Engine result is not a financing approval or commitment to fund. The financing provider’s written offer and agreement establish actual credit terms.
TRC cost information does not establish insurance coverage, reimbursement, or your final out-of-pocket responsibility. Where insurance is relevant, those matters require confirmation through the applicable plan and provider arrangements.
8. Written confirmation and patient rights
Before you commit, the relevant written documents should identify the services selected, charges, payment recipients, deposits, deadlines, and cancellation or refund terms. They should also distinguish confirmed amounts from estimates or unresolved expenses. TRC organizes this information and coordinates outstanding administrative questions within your selected services.
A general TRC planning overview does not replace a provider’s required Good Faith Estimate or other legally required pricing disclosures. Uninsured or self-pay patients may have rights to provider estimates and to dispute certain bills under applicable law. Describing an amount as an estimate does not remove those rights.
This notice does not override an applicable agreement or excuse inaccurate or misleading pricing statements. TRC remains responsible for its own services, representations, and conduct, and nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Questions or corrections
Contact TRC if a cost summary appears incomplete, an amount may have been counted twice, a payment recipient is unclear, or you need clarification about a TRC fee. Your Care Planner can organize the relevant records and coordinate questions with the responsible party.
Independent providers remain responsible for explaining their own charges and billing policies. TRC reviews concerns about its own estimates, summaries, and services.
