Electronic Communications & Messaging Notice

Tissue Restoration Center

About this notice. Understand TRC service messages, optional marketing, communication preferences and the limits of electronic messaging.

About this notice. Understand TRC service messages, optional marketing, communication preferences, and the limits of electronic messaging.

Tissue Restoration Center (“TRC”) uses communications to support requested information, account access, and nonclinical patient services. This notice explains those communications and the choices that may apply to them.

Providing contact information or reading this notice does not, by itself, authorize every type of message or replace any legally required consent. TRC messages are not an emergency or clinical monitoring service.

1. Communications connected to your requests

Depending on your interaction and available features, TRC communications may include verification codes, responses to inquiries, requested callbacks, consultation coordination, account notices, planning updates, and information about selected services or payments.

Messages may be delivered through email, text, telephone, or My TRC where those channels are available and their use is permitted. The applicable request, preferences, permissions, and law govern how TRC contacts you.

A reply to a question or a requested callback does not, by itself, enroll you in paid services, authorize a charge, or consent to surgery. Those actions require their own applicable agreement or confirmation process.

2. Marketing messages and consent

Promotional communications are distinct from messages needed to respond to a request or administer a service. TRC must obtain any consent required for the type of communication and technology used. A promotional message does not become a service message simply because it mentions your account or planning interests.

Consent to automated marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing TRC services. Completing verification, saving a selection, or requesting service assistance should not be understood as blanket permission for promotional calls or texts.

Where a separate consent is presented, its wording identifies what you are agreeing to. This general notice does not replace that consent, authorize unrelated third-party marketing, or waive your right to withdraw permission where applicable.

3. Message preferences and opting out

For marketing email, use the unsubscribe instructions included in the message. For TRC text messages, follow the opt-out instructions provided, including replying STOP where indicated. You may also contact TRC for assistance with a communication preference or withdrawal request.

TRC processes opt-out and consent-withdrawal requests according to the applicable requirements and the scope of the request. A preference for one channel or message category should not be assumed to govern every other channel. If you want a broader change, explain it when contacting TRC; this does not restrict any rights you otherwise have.

An opt-out does not cancel an appointment, paid service, account, financing agreement, or payment obligation. Those actions have separate processes. Messages outside the scope of an opt-out may continue only where independently permitted; labeling a message “essential” does not override a withdrawal that applies to it.

Stopping texts may affect access to text-based verification or service updates. Contact TRC to discuss available alternatives. TRC does not use this limitation to require consent to marketing.

4. Contact details and communication privacy

Provide contact information you are authorized to use, and notify TRC if a number or address changes or no longer belongs to you. If you receive a message intended for someone else, contact TRC without forwarding unnecessary personal information.

Ordinary email and text messages may be visible to others with access to your device, account, or notification previews. They may not provide the same protections as a designated document-submission process. Consider these limits before sending sensitive information or using a shared device.

Do not send Social Security numbers, bank credentials, payment-card details, or unnecessary medical records through general TRC email or text. Use the designated process for the requested information. Collection, use, retention, and sharing are addressed in the applicable privacy notices; this page does not grant additional data-use permissions.

5. Delivery, replies, and automated confirmations

Carrier filtering, network conditions, device settings, service interruptions, or incorrect contact details may delay or prevent delivery. Message frequency depends on your activity, requested services, and any program-specific disclosures. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

A sent, delivered, saved, or received indicator does not establish that a Care Planner, surgeon, or other professional has read the message or acted on it. An automated acknowledgment confirms only the action it describes; it is not a clinical assessment, appointment acceptance, or lender decision.

Some sending addresses or numbers may not accept replies. Follow the response instructions in the message or use TRC’s service contacts below. A reply to TRC does not automatically reach your independent surgeon or another provider.

6. Medical concerns and emergencies

Contact your surgical team directly about symptoms, medication questions, wound concerns, and postoperative instructions, using the channels it provides. TRC Care Planners coordinate nonclinical matters and do not provide medical triage through email, text, or portal messages.

Do not wait for a TRC reply when medical attention is needed. TRC messaging is not continuously monitored for medical emergencies, and an acknowledgment does not mean a clinical professional has reviewed your concern.

For a medical emergency in the United States, call 911 or seek immediate emergency care. Outside the United States, use the local emergency number.

7. Separate notices and TRC accountability

Specific messaging programs, services, or electronic transactions may present additional terms or disclosures. Any legally required agreement to receive formal documents electronically must be obtained through the applicable process; this notice alone does not supply that agreement.

Independent practices, facilities, and financing providers have their own communication policies. Their messages and preference controls may be separate from TRC’s. TRC can clarify which organization sent a communication where that information is available.

TRC remains responsible for its own communications, applicable consent and opt-out obligations, and the services it agrees to provide. Technical limitations do not excuse misleading messages or remove duties imposed by law. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Questions or communication changes

Contact TRC about unwanted messages, incorrect contact details, missing service communications, or difficulty changing a preference. Identify the affected email address or telephone number and the type of message without including unnecessary sensitive information.
