Emergency instructions
For a medical emergency, call 911 immediately in the United States or seek emergency medical services. Do not use TRC forms, chat, SMS, video consultations, email, or portal messages for emergency care.
Not continuously monitored
TRC communication channels are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored. Response times can vary and no specific clinical response time is promised.
Medical concerns
For pain, bleeding, fever, wound problems, medication reactions, breathing changes or other concerning symptoms, contact your treating surgeon or the medical team using the contact instructions they gave you. For urgent concerns, obtain prompt in-person medical assessment.
Clinical decisions
Only licensed medical professionals can assess symptoms, diagnose complications or direct clinical treatment. Administrative support and symptom check-ins are not clinical monitoring or substitute for medical evaluation.
Communication limitations
TRC may route messages or assist with contact details, but cannot guarantee delivery to a clinician, clinician availability, or a particular response. Follow the physician’s postoperative emergency instructions.
