Silagen Reveal
A separate Silagen formula for uneven texture, redness and dark marks — including acne scars. It is not a standard after-surgery scar gel.
- Formerly Acne Scar + Spot Corrector
- Silicone with selected actives
- Ask before using on a new incision

A different purpose
Reveal is Silagen’s product for texture, hyperpigmentation (dark marks) and redness. It was previously sold as Acne Scar + Spot Corrector, and you may still see that name on older materials.
Unlike Pure gel, Reveal combines silicone with additional active ingredients aimed at tone and texture. That makes it a different conversation: it is not the default choice for a fresh surgical incision, and it should be used only when your surgeon or dermatologist recommends it.

Before you start Reveal
Is my skin ready?
Any incision must be fully closed. Ask whether actives are appropriate this early, or whether to start with plain silicone.
What else am I using?
Bring a list of creams, acids, retinoids and medicines, and ask about overlap.
How do I protect from sun?
Dark marks often respond to sun. Ask how to fit sunscreen around Reveal.
How will we judge progress?
Agree on a time frame and take consistent photos in the same light.

Can I use Reveal on a new surgical scar?
Ask first. Reveal contains active ingredients beyond silicone and is not Silagen’s standard post-surgical gel.

Silagen cites a study with participant-reported improvements, but results vary and are not guaranteed. A dermatologist can tell you what is realistic for your skin.
