About this notice. Understand the technologies used on TRC’s website and digital tools, the information they handle, and the privacy choices available to you.
Cookies and related technologies can support account access, preferences, website operation, and other functions. This notice describes the technologies used by Tissue Restoration Center (“TRC”) and should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Saving a planning selection is different from agreeing to unrelated tracking or advertising. This notice does not replace any consent or privacy choice required for a particular use of information.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Related technologies include local and session storage, scripts, pixels, and embedded services. Some technologies store information on your device; others transmit information without placing a cookie.
Information associated with these technologies can include identifiers, device or browser details, page activity, and the information needed for a particular function. The actual uses and providers are described below. A technology is not anonymous simply because it does not collect your name.
2. How TRC uses these technologies
TRC currently uses these technologies for four purposes:
- Website security and delivery. Our hosting network uses cookies to help distinguish ordinary visitors from automated traffic and to deliver the current version of the website.
- Account sign-in and saved planning. When you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in session so My TRC can show your saved plan. Selections you make before saving are held in your browser for the current visit.
- Ask Auryn conversations. If you use Ask Auryn, a cookie lets the website reconnect you to your own conversation during your visit period.
- Website performance and visit measurement. Our website hosting platform records page visits, page-loading speed, and technical errors so the site can be measured and kept working. This is not used by TRC for advertising.
TRC does not currently load advertising pixels, conversion tags, or session-recording tools on its website. When you send TRC a request, the request may include how you first arrived at the site, such as the referring website and any campaign labels in the link you followed. This helps TRC understand which of its own pages and campaigns lead to requests; it is not sent to advertising platforms by the website.
3. Technologies and providers
- Hosting network security cookie (provider: Cloudflare, for our hosting platform). Purpose: helps identify automated traffic. Information: a coded value tied to your browser. Persistence: about 30 minutes. Runs on every visit to the website.
- Website version cookie (provider: our website hosting platform, Lovable). Purpose: delivers the current published version of the site. Persistence: about one day. Runs on every visit.
- Visit and performance measurement (provider: our website hosting platform, Lovable). Purpose: counts page visits and measures loading speed and errors. Information: the page address visited, page-loading measurements, error details, and randomly generated visit and page-view identifiers. Runs when pages load.
- Sign-in session (provider: TRC’s account service on Lovable Cloud, plus Google or Microsoft if you choose to sign in with them). Purpose: keeps you signed in to My TRC. Information: your account identifier and sign-in tokens stored in your browser. Persistence: until you sign out or the session expires. Runs only after you sign in.
- Ask Auryn visit cookie (provider: TRC). Purpose: connects you to your own Ask Auryn conversations without an account. Information: a random visit code. Persistence: up to 30 days. Runs only when you use Ask Auryn.
- Planning and display storage in your browser (provider: TRC). Purpose: remembers selections, search progress, page position, photo rotation, and similar display choices. Information: the selections you make on the site. Persistence: most items are cleared when you close the browser tab; a small number of display choices, such as the avatar shown in Aesthetic Studio or a dismissed example plan, remain in that browser until cleared. These items are not sent to TRC unless you save your plan to an account or send a request.
Google and Microsoft apply their own privacy practices when you choose to sign in with them. A link that opens an outside website, such as a map, a practice, or a lender, brings you under that organization’s practices.
4. Your choices
TRC does not currently offer a cookie preference center, because the technologies listed above are used to operate, secure, and measure the website rather than for advertising.
You choose whether to sign in, whether to save your plan to an account, and whether to use Ask Auryn. Signing out of My TRC ends the browser sign-in session on that device. Selections held only for your current visit end when you close the browser tab.
Contact TRC if you have a question about a technology described here or want to make a privacy request about information TRC holds.
5. Planning information and sensitive pages
Procedure interests, desired results, photographs, recovery information, and financial details may reveal sensitive personal information. A page address, search term, or event description can also reveal an interest when associated with a person or device.
An agreement to use a planning feature is not blanket permission to disclose this information for unrelated advertising or other purposes. Any collection, use, or disclosure must have the permissions or other lawful basis applicable to it. The Privacy Policy and relevant notices explain TRC’s information practices and rights that may apply.
This notice does not authorize a tracker to receive information that it is not otherwise permitted to receive. Describing a technology does not, by itself, establish that every use of it is appropriate or lawful.
6. Browser settings and saved information
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies and other site storage. These settings can affect sign-in, remembered preferences, or information held only in that browser. They do not necessarily prevent every form of data transmission or tracking.
Clearing browser storage is different from requesting deletion of information retained in a TRC account or by a service provider. It also does not necessarily withdraw a separate permission or remove information already lawfully received by another party. Use the applicable privacy controls or contact TRC about the request you intend to make.
7. External services and accountability
Following a link to an independent practice, lender, or other external website may bring you under that organization’s privacy practices. An embedded service can operate within a TRC page, so leaving the website is not the only way information may reach an outside provider.
TRC remains responsible for its own technology choices, representations, and information handling under applicable law and agreements. This notice does not replace legally required disclosures, consent, opt-out controls, or safeguards, and it does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Privacy questions
Contact TRC about this notice, an unfamiliar technology, difficulty using a privacy control, or a concern about information handling. Identify the page and issue without sending unnecessary medical, financial, or account information.
