Reading the captions

Surgery date versus treatment start

“3 days after surgery” counts from the operation; “after 2 months of treatment” counts from when silicone began. Some cases started weeks after surgery.

Combined products

Several cases used more than one product, or switched part-way. The reported products come from the source caption.

What was excluded

Duplicate cases, a page with mismatched labels, competitor comparisons and a thyroid image with a conflicting caption were held back pending manufacturer correction.
