Not clinical predictions
Avatars, silhouettes, beauty imagery, sample anatomical drawings and appearance illustrations communicate concepts. They are not individualized clinical predictions, representations of a likely postoperative appearance, or guarantees of results.
Before-and-after materials
When authentic patient before-and-after images are used, they should be accurately labeled, used with appropriate consent, and presented without misleading alteration or implication. Actual results vary and may be materially different.
Medical accuracy
Decorative diagrams are not substitutes for individualized anatomical assessment or physician explanation. Some scenes may simplify medical realities for readability.
