Skin lipids

Learn about squalane, ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids.

Understanding the ingredients

Lipids are fats. Areolar Balm contains ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids. It also contains squalane.

Phase 3 Cream combines squalane and ceramides with silicone, moisture-binding ingredients and peptides. Its ingredient mix differs from a balm.

FemaSilk combines squalane, dimethicone and silicone elastomer in a water-free base. Phase 3 Cream contains water. These bases are part of what makes the products different.
